Michael Heap Michael Heap is a one off, the true definition of a renaissance man, after giving up molecular biology to pursue an arts career he punches well above his artistic weight. Having been trained originally as a molecular biologist (BSc Mbio) he now concentrates on artistic creation specifically within the media context, currently pioneering the recycled cinema performance, incorporating equal aspects of Vjing, Djing, Editing & Documentary & Performance culture. The 10,000 day war is the first in an ongoing project documenting the modern history of our culture in a non-partisan way.
On a day-to-day basis he works for aljazeera english, managing immense amounts of high definition counter cultural video, in their pioneering new state of the art studio in doha, qatar .He is currently living by the motto 'if you cant beat or join them, then work for the tv station that will televise the revolution'.

Mark Scarratt is a founder member of the VJammAllstars - conscious A/V pioneers with their party hats on - as well as a director of Brightonart. Editor, production manager, VJ, DJ, cameraman - he is one of those people who really blur the artist/technician boundary to great effect, as happy in the studio or on the road, in creative roles or pulling a team together to achieve a technically demanding production in insufficient time! As part of Headspace, Mark co-conceived and developed GRIDIO with Coldcut, and has toured extensively throughout Europe, the Balkans and beyond with the VJammAllstars.
He still finds time to co-run the Groovy Movie - the worlds first Solar Powered Cinema - at festivals through the summer, as well as stage manage with Innerfield and take on production roles at the Rocket Festival and London Fashion week's On|Off event.
